   SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)- set of standards for communication with devices (hubs, switches, routers)connected to TCP?IP network

   SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)- send electronic mail on Internet

   FTP(File Transfer Protocol)- set of rules that allow 2 computers to talk to one another as a file transfer is carried out. used when transfer file from 1 computer across Internet.
