Which statement about the Layer 3 card on the Cisco Nexus 5500 Series Switch is true?

A.
BGP support is not provided, but RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF support is provided.
B.
Up to two 4-port cards are supported with up to 160 Gb/s of Layer 3 forwarding capability.
C.
Up to 16 FEX connections are supported.
D.
Port channels cannot be configured as Layer 3 interfaces.
strange question..
A – BGP support depends on a license, not on a presence of daughter card itself.
so it can’t be the right answer
B – Only one card is supported and L3 card has no ports – this can’t the right answer too
D – I’m not aware of any reason why it shouldn’t be possible – can’t be the right answer
then only C remains, but no idea why 🙂

yes agree it is a strange question..
A – NO – BGP is supported
B – NO – either 1 on 5548 or 3 on 5596 are supported
D – NO – port channels can be configured as L3 interfaces
That leaves C..
C – YES – Nexus 5500 supports upto 16 FEX connections when used with L3 card and up to 24 without the card?? http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5500/sw/configuration_limits/b_N5500_Verified_Scalability_602N11/b_N5500_Config_Limits_602N11_chapter_01.html#reference_BCDAA1182FD641C3B350AC9C1825050A
