“The trace tool is an extremely useful page for troubleshooting and configuration planning. Trace allows you to simulate an email message injected into the ESA. You can specify the attributes: sending IP and host, sender’s SBRS, the listener on the ESA, and all the message attributes, such as sender, recipients, and even the entire message body.”
