B like knabeowulf said backup keeps MAC’s snapshot keeps drivers.

B is accurate. Snapshot can only be restored to the same hardware, same state( OS, version, HF version). Backup does not collect driver information and can be restored to a different machine.It does however contain MAC information and restoring this to a different machine may cause MAC issues.
