You need to perform packet captures on a Brocade VDX 6730-76 switch for both a packet
analyzer and an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), requiring bi-directional flows to both. The
packet analyzer is connected to port Te 26/0/15l and the IDS is connected to Te 26/0/12. The
source port for the bi-directional flow has a server connected to it on port 26/0/15. You are unable
to capture a bi-directional flow on both the packet analyzer and the IDS ports when using SPAN.
Why is this happening?
A.
Pause frames are not mirrored.
B.
Only one port per ASIC can be made a destination port for bi-directional mirroring.
C.
Multiple destination SPAN ports are not supported.
D.
Mirroring of LAG or Port-channel interfaces is not supported.
