A customer branch office backup and restore strategy integrates replication using HP StoreOnce
D2D4109i Backup system in the main data center. After a presentation of a new HP StoreOnce
Backup system and its functionalities, the customer wants to use HP Storeonce Catalyst with HP
Data Protector installation for the existing replication environment.
What has to be done to integrate the concept? (Select 2)

A.
Upgrade existing HW with RAM and drives for Catalyst compatibility
B.
Propose StoreOnce Catalyst DP licenses for existing models
C.
Upgrade backup system SW to an StoreOnce Catalyst aware ver.
D.
Trade in the branch office systems and propose StoreOnce 4210 Backup Systems
E.
Recomended HP DataProtector StoreOnce replication licenses.

p9, paragraf 2: HP StoreOnce Catalyst stores do require a separate license on both source and
target; VTL/NAS devices only require licenses if they are replication targets so we need to choose
either B or E. But there is no replication, so choose B p9, topic “key features” last bullet: HP
StoreOnce is only supported on HP Data Protector 7.01, Symantec NetBackup 7.x and Symantec
Backup Exec 2012. So we need to upgrade SW – C.

Wrong. Should be D, because current equipment don’t work with catalyst, that is the customer wants to, and E, to work with replication.
