I logged on to my vCenter server to verify the answer.

D is incorrect. You can change the reservation type only for other resource pools and not for VMs.

Answer should be A and B since there is a memory tab as well from where you can change memory reservation, limit and shares.

C is incorrect because child resource pools are not visible in that view.

    The question simply asks:
“Which of the following can be configured or modified from the Resource Allocation tab of a DRS Cluster?”

Well, on a resource allocation tab of a DRS CLUSTER, the column ‘Type’ is NOT present, UNLESS, like in the screenshot there are Resource Pools (or vApps, i.e. kind’o resource pools) defined in which case the column is shown.

The question however does not mention existance of resource pools, anywhere. (And on the exam you are not supposed to ‘dream’ things into the question that are not explicitly mentioned! You will be putting yourself on the wrong foot.))

And for the record: Expandability is a property of Resource Pools, not DRS Clusters; although a DRS cluster might be percieved as the ‘initial’ overall Resource pool in a hierarchy of subsequent resource pools.

So effectrively, the only correct answer remaining, given the wording of the question would be A.

I need to correct myself, the Type column IS presented, but as far as possible changes go: N/A (ie Not Applicable), which only confirms my earlier statement on this.

A, B, and D are all correct. Just checked on my setup, I can modify all 3 of those items from that window.

And Dyslexia, sorry I do not agree. Following your logic, since the question does not explicitly state that any VMs are present, you can’t assume that any VMs exist either which would also make A incorrect.
