    The answer would be D…read the question carefully….prevent the computer from being redirected to the potential phishing site…..the host file is like DNS and the host file is accessed before the DNS servers…the host file got modified by the trojan or adware or the like and you got redirected….thats what the host file will do.

      I totally agree with you. Many of the practice tests for the Windows configuration exam 70-680 choose smart filter as a correct answer , but it is the host file the correct one.
