    I DISAGREE!!!

The maximum tolerable downtime (MTD), sometimes also known as maximum tolerable outage (MTO). The MTD is the maximum length of time a business function can be inoperable without causing irreparable harm to the business. The MTD provides valuable information when you’re performing both BCP and DRP planning.

This leads to another metric, the recovery time objective (RTO), for each business function. This is the amount of time in which you think you can feasibly recover the function in the event of a disruption.

Although I think this answer B is wrong and MTD should be correct, but it is correct according to NIST SP800-34,page 17.
Recovery Time Objective (RTO). RTO defines the maximum amount of time that a system resource can remain unavailable before there is an unacceptable impact on other system resources, supported mission/business processes, and the MTD. Determining the information system resource RTO is important for selecting appropriate technologies that are best suited for meeting the MTD. When it is not feasible to immediately meet the RTO and the MTD is inflexible, a Plan of Action and Milestone should be initiated to document the situation and plan for its mitigation.
