Blue Smacking is a DOS attack

“BlueSmack. BlueSmack is a Bluetooth attack that knocks out some Bluetooth-enabled devices immediately. This Denial of Service attack…. ”

The question states: “William is now able to do whatever he wants to with the device now”
^^^That suggests he has carried out a Blue Jacking attack and has taken over the device. If William has performed a DOS attack he can not do anything with the device. By definition a DOS attack has knocked the device out for everyone.
