Complicated question, as I see that there 2 types SSD and HDD but there is also a “EBS Magnetic” type (but it says that it is “Previous generation HDD”). It is not obvious question.
And there are many options provided for these types:
-General Purpose SSD (GP2)
-Provisioned IOPS SSD (IO1)
-Magnetic
-Throughput Optimized HDD
-Cold HDD (SC1)

Effective 1st Jan 2017, I am told that Ephemeral Or Instance Storage has been discontinued by AWS and no more supported. So, if this questions is asked after 1st 2017, in my opinion the answer to this question should be “D” (i.e. – 1), only EBS Volumes.
